Jesus NEVER FAILS: Testimonies of Jesus Faithfulness

God speaks to us in many ways. Did you realize that when you are dealing with life’s problems and a song comes to mind that encourages you, that God has released a song of deliverance to you? It is a form of divine protection for spiritual warfare.

For the last 2 weeks I have heard three different Jesus Never Fails songs. One was traditional (Bishop Marvin Winans), one is contemporary (Todd Galbreath), and the last one is contemporary (Maverick City) with a twist for Millennials, Gen Z and anyone who appreciates rap. The lyrics for each song is uplifting and they tell, you how and why Jesus Never Fails.

When we go before God in prayer to make our request known we don’t always get the answer we would like. That doesn’t mean Jesus failed. Our expectations did not line up with the plan or the steps that God has ordered. He can make your mess into a message because he gives beauty for ashes. He makes you the victor and not the victim by taking your pain and turning it into joy.

For Jesus Never Fails to be a reality in your life, you have to look at every situation not through your emotions or your expectations but with hope as it all unfolds before you. If the outcome is not good, He is not done. He said no good thing will He withhold when you live righteously.

There is nothing you can get into that He can’t get you out of. His divine protection shielded the three Hebrew boys and saved Daniel in the lions’ den because of their faith and obedience. These are That same power has not been lost for your life. It is still at work today in your:

  • Court battles
  • Addictions
  • Lying, fear, and doubt
  • When you have more month than money

He can handle all of that with ease for everyone on earth at the same time. See the proof in the testimonies of Jesus faithfulness below.

Never Failed Me As A Student

In 1999 I was in school in a health related field. On the first day of class, I dropped my pen under my chair. This is an old university so they had the fold over half desk top. While attempting to retrieve the pen from the floor, I caught the attention of the lecturing instructor. The act of getting my pen put me on her list.

For the next 2 years she told every instructor clinical and lecturing to watch me. In this profession they have a tendency to “weed out the weak ones”. In her mind I was weak and should have been kicked out of the program. Any little thing kept this lady at war with me. I would testify at church of her behavior and how I knew God would show up and end this tug of war.

The Unjust War

On my absolute last class with the lecturing instructor she assigns me to this military instructor whom I watched the previous semester kick out another student named Anita. I said, to myself she has selected someone who will definitely kick me out and without proof. God I need you now!

I arrived for the first day of that off site course and during our tour of the unit, the janitor walked out of the closet door which swung out into the hall. As he came out the door hit the instructor on her shoulder. The team on site wanted to make sure the incident report was completed. The instructor was hesitant but complied. I saw the door hit her it appeared to be a gentle tap. Even she felt like to much attention was being given to the issue.

When she went to her doctor she was taken off work. They called in a substitute who was supposed to be off for that semester because her mother-in-law had been diagnosed with cancer and she wanted to attend the appointments and take care of her. Well the MIL went into remission.

God’s Intervention

The new instructor was free to teach and was the answer to my prayers. She was very sweet and kind. When she came to class on her first day, she was saying, “I don’t know why I am here.” She shared the information about the MIL, thinking she would be off on FMLA. I told her she was there to protect me from being unjustly kicked out of the program. She was not aware yet that the instructors were watching me based on the lecturing instructor’s advisement.

A few weeks later, she confirmed it. “They are watching you. I was told that if you do anything wrong to report back. I told them you were one of my best students in this group, that’s why I give you harder assignments.” I knew that I was being watched because every off-site instructor during the exit interview would say they did not understand why I was to be watched since my skills were on target for success in my field of study.

God never leaves His children in the dark. When He said “be not deceived, God is not mocked, whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap,” He meant it! I have learned that how they dish it, is how it comes back, but multifaceted. I started hearing other students complaining and gossiping, and they would say, “Will you all stop harassing her? She is taking it out on us!” At this point, there is a group of 6 of us, that are study buddies and being pointed out for no reason other than the instructor having the power to cause us grief.

Due to the spiritual battle she was inflicting on me, she was on the verge of losing her home. When I heard this, I knew God was intervening for mistreating His child. I felt sorry for her. I prayed for her, I asked God if He would teach her the lesson and bless her to keep her home. I just wanted an apology but I knew I wouldn’t get one.

A Public Apology

Fast forward to graduation day, I was with my family when Dr. W, the lecturing instructor approached. I said, to God as she was walking my way, “after all the trouble she has caused me if she comes over here being fake I am going to go off”. I did not use profanity then and I don’t now, so I really mean call her out on power tripping.

BUT when she approached she said to my family ” I gave her a hard time”. She congratulated me and left, I was cool. That admission was technically an apology and she knew the issues that came forth in her life that were stressful was due to how she treated me.

For two years I was carrying a cross that God authorized. It wasn’t pleasant, but He carried it with me and did all of the heavy lifting. Jesus NEVER fails. Not today, not tomorrow not ever. Jesus is the supreme being, after all every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord.

Never Failed Me As A Mom

My daughter was 15 months old and my aunt watched her when I went to work. Although I was married at the time, he was unsupportive and had gone back into the lifestyle God had delivered him out of (backslide). I get off work and I pick up my baby and my aunt says she might have asthma. When playing she had a few moments when her breathing was bad.

We go to the pediatrician when I scheduled the appointment. The doctor was concerned and wanted additional testing and x rays. I scheduled the appointment for after work so we were there very early as I was on midnights. Due to fear of harm I told the doctor I will do the other testing after getting some rest.

Eventually we get to the specialist and get the x-ray and I freak out. “What is that? Did she swallow a quarter?” “No, more than likely that is a dime or a penny”. So she is prepped for a procedure to remove the coin. When we get updates afterwards, we lean that it was a penny and that before they could get the penny she had a piece of chicken and a grape sitting on top of the penny. Then the doctor says, “she has granulated tissue where the penny was”.

Jesus never fails on full display:

  • The penny she swallowed went in vertically, horizontally would have cut off her air supply immediately. Depending on when it happened and who was a wake we could have lost her. BUT JESUS NEVER FAILS
  • She had a piece of chicken and a grape sitting on top of the penny. God balanced those food particles to keep her airway open. Those items could have fallen and possibly blocked her air exchange. BUT JESUS NEVER FAILS
  • She has granulated tissue where the penny had been sitting, this is a sign of healing. God was healing her before we even knew she would need surgery…BECAUSE JESUS NEVER FAILS

Why did this happen? My daughter was about 1 week old when I was given a prophesy that “I see singing in this baby.” My daughter has a beautiful voice, not saying that as the supportive mother but as a witness of the Promise of God…she sings all day long. God preserved her life, her gift, her talent, and showed me how to continually trust Him BECAUSE JESUS NEVER FAILS.

My testimonies prove what I know in my heart: no matter the challenge, Jesus is faithful. He will never leave you.

To really drive home His point, before I finished this post God came with The Walls Group He’s Able. (The actual song is Love on the Radio, but He focused me on the lyrics He’s Able). This song is a message of hope, joy, and bold faith. It reminds us to stay true to God and not compromise. Just like the three Hebrew Boys we have to know He is able even if He doesn’t answer our requests.
